Natasha Joubert, Miss South Africa, enters her second week of reign.

Natasha Joubert, who finished third in Miss SA in 2020, was crowned Miss SA 2023 on Sunday, August 13 at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. Bryoni Govender, the runner-up, has been named South Africa’s Miss Universe representative.

Natasha has begun her reign as Miss SA with interviews and appearances. While Miss Universe announced that Bryoni Govender will be representing South Africa at the international pageant to be held in El Salvador, central America in November this year.

The Miss South Africa organization, according to its website, is a leadership forum for ambitious young South African women. Check out all of the pageant’s live updates.

This year’s finalists’ journey was a short one. The Top 12 finalists battled for seven seats on Crown Chasers, a reality show. As a result, five of the Top 12 contestants were eliminated from the pageant.

The top seven finalists who were competing to be the next Miss SA title on Sunday were:

  • Homba Mazaleni
  • Jordan van der Vyver
  • Melissa Nayimuli
  • Nande Mabala
  • Natasha Joubert

The finale was hosted by media personality Bonang Matheba.
