Biography
A well-known South African actress named Mogau Motlhatswi was born on July 13, 1992, in Mogoto, Limpopo. She received her education at Piet van Vuuren Primary School in Brixton. At this school, she participated in athletics fairly actively. She continued her schooling at St. Mary’s High School in Waverly.
She studied acting, geography, and history there during her senior year of high school. She would undoubtedly employ drama in the future to grow in her career. She attended at the University of Johannesburg after high school to study audiovisual communication.
Career
When she was younger, she initially wanted to be a lawyer but later switched to wanting to be a radio host. She discovered she wanted to be an actress after being exposed to theatre and movies.
She was given the role of Mapitsi in the popular soap opera Skeem Saam, which premiered in 2011. In the main cast, she shared a stage with Amanda du Pont, Eric Macheru, Clement Maosa, Natasha Thahane, and Thabo Mamabolo.
On the programme, Mapitsi Skeem Saam was supposed to portray Cornet Mamabolo, the latter’s ex-girlfriend. Mogau Motlhatswi, who has a long acting history, portrayed Skeem Saam for seven seasons. She also played the characters Bulelwa in Soul City season 12 and a well-known guest in Karektas season 1.
